I am afraid of needles, should i still get an acupuncture session?

I recommend trying Japanese Toyohari acupuncture.  Japanese Toyohari is a unique style of acupuncture  passed down from blind acupuncturist masters in Japan. Unable to see, these masters, developed extraordinary sensitivity in their hands, refining centuries of traditional medicine to create a much more delicate and precise technique.

That is why, during your session, we pay special attention to palpation of the body and pulse reading. This allows us to “feel”  what your body needs at each moment and adapt the treatment exclusively to you. In this way, we restore your body’s natural balance, helping you calm your nervous system, recover your vitality, and feel well again. Non- inserting metal tools, superficial needling, Japanese moxibustion is applied leading to a painless and relaxing experience.

What to expect with the first acupuncture session?

Your first acupuncture visit begins with a detailed consultation to determine the best approach to the treatment, as well as observations including tongue and pulse and abdomen analysis.

The practitioner explains their findings, outlines a treatment plan, and suggests the number of sessions needed.

During the session, you’ll relax on a comfortable massage table as thin, disposable needles are inserted into specific points,  accompanied by calming music.

There are no multiple rooms where other patients are being treated, Attention is directly focused on you at all times.  Choice of having the practitioner stay in the room with you or outside  of the room at a close distance while you relax on the table.

How many acupuncture sessions do i need?

While acupuncture may provide noticeable results quickly for some, however, it is not commonly known as a quick fix.

Everyone responds differently to acupuncture depending on age, constitution, sensitivity, the condition itself,  length of time of the complaint whether it is acute or a chronic conditon.

A certain consistency is required.

The length of the treatment plan is advised depending on the type of condition to assess progress and and to aim for optimal results. Expect at least 3 - 4 sessions to evaluate progress.
