Acupuncture - How does it work? Acupuncture stimulates the body's natural self-healing mechanisms by targeting specific points along the meridians, which are energy pathways that regulate bodily functions. When fine needles are inserted into these points, they send signals to the nervous system, triggering the release of neurotransmitters, endorphins, and hormones that reduce pain, inflammation, and stress.  Acupuncture focuses on balancing the flow of chi energy through the body's meridian channels. This method uses  disposable, thin needle placements on key acupuncture points to restore harmony & balance, relieve pain , enhance the body's natural healing process and promote overall well-being.  

 

Your healing journey starts with an initial intake to address your health concerns while gathering the information needed to customize your acupuncture session.

 

Assessment before treatment may include abdominal palpation, palpation to specific muscular areas, observation of features including the tongue, and pulse analysis, ensuring a thorough evaluation.

Japanese non-inserting tools of various metals according to aim - including silver, gold,  gold plated, copper, copper & zinc magnets

Japanese moxibustion - Traditional use of highly refined quality mugwort from Japan to support healing for a variety of conditons

 

Auricular Acupuncture - After treatment specific auricular points applied with silver plated magnet  pellets or press tack to support treatment for a temporary leave in ( 3 - 5 days)

 

Take home advice depending on condtion may include specific breathing or meditation recommendation, home care exercise, a sent link from a qi gong video to follow, specific food recommendation to support health

First Consult with  Acupuncture  session 75 - 90 minutes = 95 euro

Follow up Sessions  - 60 minutes  = 80 euro,  Short - 55 euro

 

First Consult Acupuncture with short duration of massage - 110 euro

follow up - 95 euro

 

 Supplemental services with TCM Acupuncture  ( not covered  for reimbursement with Alternative Dulch Health Insurance, only acupuncture)

 

Specialized Therapeutic Massage - for stress, muscular tension/tight muscles, sports conditions, chronic pain, low back pain & more,  -- Suitable with Acupuncture for Pain, Stress Management, Problems with sleep

Therapeutic massage 20 minutes - 40 euro  with first consult + short  acupuncture - 70 euro - Total - 110 euro

follow up - Therapeutic massage (40 euro) + with acupuncture (short) 55 euro - Total 95 euro 

 

Supplemental Holistic modality- Suitable for stress & emotional imbalance, pain management, sleep problems

Sound Therapy with selected sound healing frequencies from instruments - 15 minutes - 25 euro +  first consult with short acupuncture - 70 euro - 95 euro

Follow up - 80 euro

 

 

 

Full payment is required after session, up to 24 hours an invoice will be sent by email to send to your insurance provider for  reimbursement.  Acupuncture is covered with most Dutch Health Insurance with the supllemental alternative package.

 

 

Frequency of treatments

 

While acupuncture may provide noticeable results quickly for some, however, it is not commonly known as a quick fix.

Everyone responds differently to acupuncture depending on age, constitution, sensitivity, the condition itself,  length of time of the complaint whether it is an  acute or a chronic conditon. 

A certain consistency is required.

A treatment plan depending on condition is generally advised to assess progress and to aim for optimal results.

 

 

Cancellation Policy 

Out of courtesy to the practitioner and other clients, 24 hour cancellation notice is required - missed appointments, rescheduling & cancelling before 24 hours will be charged a fee of 55 euro fo. Thank you for your cooperation.
